If the CBC had 5 second delay, they would delay it...sorry, had to throw in the shot to the CBC there...but that is very cool how she did that, gotta love humility in athletes.

While I am a skeptic about the CBC as well, no criticism is warranted here. The segment was a recorded item- one of those athlete profiles they do.
Moreover, Brian Williams later did an interview with Klassen where he asked her a question about her faith- so credit is due.
One other thing- the segment included a lot of Christian imagery- mostly crosses, but also a Bible. What sort of bible? A Catholic bible- a copy of the Knox Version. I don't imagine one in a thousand would have noticed it, since it's been out of print for so long.
